MONOCHAMS CLOSURE & FULL NFT REFUNDS Before anything else, we want to express our deepest gratitude to our loyal community members. Many of you supported us for months, tested our products, shared our journey, and believed in what we were building even when the rest of the ecosystem was collapsing. Your trust, patience, and dedication meant everything to us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 💜 Over the past year, we dedicated ourselves fully to building on Monad. But as many of you witnessed, the Mainnet launched so late. With each delay, the ecosystem weakened. Monad team did not recognize the decline, relying instead on artificial hype, while real builders and loyal community members were left behind. After the $MON airdrop, expectations were not met at all, genuine participants felt disappointed, and the ecosystem slowly began to fall apart. Additionally The Monad Momentum support program was proposed, but almost no native platform received support from Monad itself. Despite the challenges, we continued to build. We stayed active, delivered real utility, and tried to bring something meaningful to this chain. Unfortunately, NFT communities also received little to no support. Our attempts to reach out to Karma (@wagmigently, the NFT lead of Monad) since May were never answered. A small number of favored projects were repeatedly promoted while smaller builders were ignored. It was like there is only Chogs on Monad. Combined with market conditions, nearly every NFT project on Monad struggled, reducing supply and lowering mint prices, yet still barely minting a few hundred pieces. We invested thousands of dollars into Monochams before opening the mint. We built real, functional utility ready from day one. But for sustainability, at least part of these costs needed to be recovered. That’s why we reduced the supply from 3333 to 2222 and priced the mint at symbolic levels. Even then, like many other projects on Monad, we were only able to mint a small number of NFTs. This situation deeply saddens us. One year of work, thousands of dollars, and countless hours of effort should not end this way. But our priority has always been our community, and because of that, we have decided the following: We've stopped the launch. Now we will REFUND every wallet that minted a Monochams NFT !!! We will request the full minting data from Magic Eden and begin processing refunds as soon as we receive it. Please do not list your NFTs on the market during this process. Further details will be shared soon. With this step, we are officially bringing the Monochams project to an end. Our advice to the community is simple: Stay away from chains that rely on “fake hype” and marketing slogans like “only community.” Look for real builders. Look for real products.
