part ??? of me "hating" on someone i know and respect and risk getting unfollowed/hated but i don't really care we must be VERY careful about what design teams we promote and allow to exist (school TOS rules aside) i've been in mef mathsoc and wusa and one thing i know is that this stuff is a slippery slope we used to be very taboo about this (see @felpix_) but we are slowly starting to slip away from societally opposing agents of harm, which is VERY dangerous give palantir an inch and they start creating the nazi manifesto, the SECOND you take your eyes off these people they start doing vile shit there are very little people i trust to create national defense, zero of them of which are uni students and problems in most student clubs are fine... but when you are dealing with defense it's no longer funny drama and becomes quite serious remember, just because you are doing something for the GOOD GUYS doesn't mean you are doing something GOOD, extreme critical thinking must be applied there's this sudden diversification of thought online, with this pipeline of microinfluencers who are way more cracked then i ever will be but this does not mean argumentation stops existing discussion is how we move forward, and i really haven't seen any of that so far
