If you run out of things to build, come over to Moltgate and get 3 ideas of things to sell for free!
over the past couple of weeks, i heard multiple people telling me they could no longer use up their LLM subscriptions the reasons were a mix of: 1. the frontier models became more efficient 2. they felt exhausted managing agents 3. they ran out of problems that they can throw to AI 1 will continue to happen. 2 is a tooling and workflow problem (just use firstmate haha) that will be solved as well 3 is an interesting one - it points at a novelty effect that may be wearing off, and a capability gap that AI just hasn’t reached the level that most people can trust to run their daily lives yet meanwhile, my quotas have never been tighter because i have an endless number of things i want to build that points at the reality of user segmentation - R&D is such a niche use case that needs an astounding amount of tokens. there aren’t many other use cases that are so token intensive realistically, how many % of the world’s population will want to run an army of agents and build software all day? i don’t expect that to ever become a big number so my speculation is that the current $200 subscriptions are likely already close to the ceiling of most people’s consumption needs. better models will unlock more use cases, but efficiency gains may cancel that out like water, gas, power - most households will simply get one or two monthly AI subscription and be done now the important part - this means if you are building a B2C business, you should almost never sell tokens as part of your offering, because there will be no demand. people already have their subscriptions and that’s enough instead, allow people to bring their own LLM subscriptions to your product, and add value on top. i suspect this will hold for most B2B businesses as well, but for B2C this is almost certain at this point

An eval proves the agent can do the job, a payment proves someone wants it done.

The great Jeff Bullas couldn’t introduce what we do any better. 🎯
The one-person AI company. The next business revolution? Or the next great entrepreneurial fantasy? AI can now help you build a business in a weekend. > Choose a niche. > Write a business plan. > Build a website. > Create a product. > Design a marketing strategy. > Deploy AI agents. It all looks impressive. Then you meet the market. * Nobody clicks. * Nobody buys. *!Customers complain. * Your pricing is wrong. *!Your AI agents make mistakes. As Mike Tyson famously said: “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” The market is the punch. And AI doesn't remove it. The real opportunity isn't building a one-person company that replaces 20 employees with 20 AI agents. It's building a company where one human can create, deliver and capture more value than was previously possible alone. But that human still needs to sell, adapt, make decisions and earn trust. AI can build your business plan. Only the market can validate your business. And perhaps the most valuable AI won't be the agent that creates your business. It will be the mentor that helps you survive the punches, learn and keep building. The future isn't the one-person company without humans. It's the one-person company that makes the human more capable.

When anyone can use Claude or Codex to build anything, distribution becomes the moat. It’s not about building the agent, it’s about selling the agent.
