machiko the brand new album release from joyce wrice! you best believe i have been waiting on this one since overgrown back in 2021 and she has absolutely smashed it in every aspect! the sound selection running through this album is giving very much sexy/grown, her vocals are gorgeous with some really beautiful hooks yet meaningful lyrics, from start to finish you feel entranced by her ability to go from singing to a more formal almost rap like delivery especially on one of my favourites so far ‘fly (someone you love)’ not to mention the instrumental’s providing an amazing listening experience, i know this one will be in my rotation for a long time!

days b4 rdb the latest release from dc2trill! this project has delivered everything i expected and more i am obsessed with the level of music within this especially because dc has such an incredible ability to showcase versatility whenever he drops something new! this is definitely a switch up from his last with some gorgeous production elements from melodic instrumentals to smooth beats blending effortlessly with his flow style, my favourite tracks so far have to be ‘88 impala’ & ‘boohoo’ notably a shorter one from him but nonetheless he slid in my opinion

mensah the latest album release from moriah mensah! i was very kindly recommended this project to have check out and i can safely say i think i have just found a new gem for my rotation! this project is filled with some of the sickest prod i have heard in a while, her flows are like no other fusing intricate verses with catchy hooks especially on my favourite tracks ‘girls night out’ & ‘issues’ that have already been replayed heavily.. i also love the creativity that shines through not only from my perspective as a listener but also in the way she knows exactly how to grab her audiences attention especially through her deliverance, overall this is a truly brilliant body of work and i am excited to see where she takes her music journey next as i will be keeping an eye out for future releases!

a good and long time the brand new album release from n4t! i have been really excited for this one since he announced it especially after his last drops that are still very much in regular rotation for me! this one has delivered everything he promised and so much more… firstly the production is just immaculate plus each selected beat pairs with his signature flow styles so perfectly especially on my favourite tracks yet ‘a good time’, ‘sounds of the uk’ & ‘no wires’ for me n4t just has such a brilliant ability to bring the biggest sense of energy & character to his music imprinting his mark within the uk scene already loved by so many! the features are sick including the likes of ciel, lancey & ceebo all matching his vibe excellently.. he has curated another great body of work adding to his already impressive discography and i for one am excited to continue being a part of his journey as a fan/dedicated listener!

last laugh [archive tape] the latest release from lucki! now you know i was listening to this first today & as expected i am obsessed! we know lucki’s ear for beats and production is top tier anyway but these are truly something else, a couple of the mixes sounded familiar perhaps from past tracks or snippets but they are so so enjoyable nonetheless, his lyrics,vibe & energy is always so cool to be a part of purely from a listeners perspective and i again am so so glad we got this especially after his last couple of proper projects!!

frequency of love the brand new album release from victoria monét! i have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to take this in from start to finish and it’s safe to say she has truly outdone herself! my first note is the feature list providing a stacked lineup including the likes of lucky daye, sza, bruno mars, bryson tiller & chlöe, the subtle + mellow production with hints of sensual feeling gives a much more sultry/grown vibe compared to the higher energy songs on her previous projects which is a nice switch up, her vocals are gorgeous with emotional depth that really hits the ears differently and overall she has curated such a brilliant body of work here this will definitely stay on repeat for me!

the last flower to bloom the latest album release from kofi stone! as many already know i absolutely adore kofi’s music so to get yet another project this year after the last few is just fantastic! from the opening track this entire album kicks off with some gorgeous production including instrumentals which his flows just work so well over the top of, his lyrical genius shines through so effortlessly & as always there are more meaningful words weaved in track by track he really is one of the uks finest when it comes to music that packs a punch in all the best ways, my favourite tracks so far have to be ‘through my pain’, ‘sicily’ with an incredible mahalia feature & ‘dozen roses’ with wiki… for me this is up there with my top kofi albums it’s ethereal
