Small Omarchy trick I keep using: Ctrl + Shift + X opens nitter.cf/compose/post as a web app in a small floating window, centered. Write the post, hit send, Super + W, done. No timeline, no tabs. One keybind plus a window rule in Hyprland.

The problem: Linux detects the Cirrus CS8409 audio bridge but never initializes the CS42L83 codec or the speaker amps.
The solution: The script installs davidjo's snd_hda_macbookpro driver via DKMS and builds it against the kernel.
Tested on one iMac19,2 so far.

Installed Omarchy on a 2019 iMac 21.5" - wifi didn't work. Don't have Ethernet in this room. Built a simple fix with Grok Build tonight. Link below.

Technical description by Grok and Claude:
Cause: the ISO ships apple-bcm-firmware in its offline mirror, but only installs it when it detects a T2. These iMacs run a BCM4364 (14e4:4464) on in-tree brcmfmac and have no T2, so it gets skipped. The mirror is bind-mounted during install and never copied to disk, so from first boot the firmware is gone.
Getting the package on isn't sufficient either — t2linux flags these two models as the exception. You also need the board files (nihau for 19,2, midway for 19,1) with the generic brcmfmac4364b2-pcie names pointed at the board NVRAM.
Impact: no Wi-Fi on a fresh install; firmware has to come back off the installer USB, or over ethernet if you have a cable on hand.
