It’s not every day you get the chance to share the water with legends of the sport at a wave you’ve dreamed about for over 20 years. Recently, I took some intentional time for myself and traveled to Tavarua with close friends—pressing the reset button through daily meditation, fitness training, breath work, and pushing limits at Cloudbreak. The experience was humbling and transformative. Surrounded by powerful waves, awe-inspiring beauty, and shallow reefs that command respect, I was reminded how important it is to pause, reset, and challenge yourself in new environments. Even more meaningful was doing it alongside people I care about. Sometimes the best perspective comes when you step away, immerse yourself in nature, and allow space for reflection and growth.
