Two weeks ago, CrofAI went from "cheapest inference provider in the world" to shutting down.
An independent investigation found that requests for models like Kimi K3 were being routed through OpenRouter to smaller, cheaper models. The price was low because the model wasn't the one you asked for.
If you use any hosted inference provider, three questions are worth asking:
1. Which model actually answered my request?
2. Who served it?
3. Who can read what I sent?
A good provider should be able to answer all three with more than "trust us.
Here's how SayGm answers them.
SayGm is a gateway. We route requests across a competitive network of providers, which is how prices land below list. We say that upfront, because routing isn't the problem. Hiding it is.
The gateway runs inside a hardware-attested TEE (Intel TDX), so the code handling your request can be verified, not just described.
For confidential models, inference runs in within a trusted enclave. Your prompt is sealed off from us, the host, and the model provider. We can't read it, and neither can anyone else.
For frontier models like Claude and GPT, routing is identity-blind: we and the host can't see your prompts, but the model provider's servers still receive them. We'd rather say that plainly than overclaim.
Cheap inference is great. Cheap inference you can verify is better.
And if you were a CrofAI user, the thread in the replies has solid advice on refunds and rotating your API keys.

Have something interesting you are working on in Bittensor? Come find me today and tell me all about it!
Thanks @mogmachine @xavier @carromademethis for chatting yesterday
Swift.
Claude Sonnet 5.5 is live on SayGm at 16.1% cheaper than retail price.
Anthropic's fastest Sonnet yet, and it needs fewer tokens to do the same work. Stack that with our discount and every task gets cheaper twice.

Building on Bittensor has a human cost: constant change, difficulty disconnecting and the pressure of failure.
@mogmachine connects that experience with focus, kindness, support from others and knowing when to step away.
Going to EXPLOIT? We’ll see you there.
Not going to make it? We’ve got you covered.
Introducing Vidaio Livestreaming, our newest product (prototype)

Bittensor a un avenir radieux devant lui

GPT-6 sol and GPT-6 luna are live on Gm.
Sol: complex coding and professional work at a lower price point.
Luna: fast, efficient everyday work at scale.
Both priced 12.9% below list from launch.
Please welcome GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna to the GPT-6 universe.
GPT-6 Sol and Luna build on the advances behind GPT-6 Astra, bringing much of its strengths into faster and more affordable models to support work at scale.
We’ve also made caching and inference more efficient, and we’re passing the savings directly to you: 50% lower API prices for Sol and Luna compared with GPT‑5.6 promotional pricing.

Opus 5.5 is live on Gm with an 18.2% discount.
Anthropic's new frontier model, leading on agentic coding, computer use, and knowledge work, and running 40% cheaper than Opus 5 by default.
Drop in your existing Anthropic sdk, nothing else changes.

1/ SayGM built its privacy-first AI inference gateway on Phala Cloud.
Every request routes through a hardware-attested confidential VM running an approved, pinned image, making the workload behind each request independently verifiable.

Hippius Drive asks you to create an unlock password the first time you do anything in the console. It's the reason we can't read your files.
Signing in tells us who you are. It doesn't unlock anything. Your files are encrypted on your device with a key that comes from a 12-word recovery seed, and your unlock password encrypts that seed. We only store a sealed copy we can't open.
If we could hand you the key, we could also read your files. So we don't hold it.
The trade-off: there's no reset email, because we have nothing to reset. Forget your password and your 12 words restore access. Lose both, and your files can't be recovered, by you or by us.
That's what zero-knowledge encryption costs, and what it buys: files nobody but you can read.

The Hippius mobile app is live on Android.
Your photos and files, backed up automatically and end-to-end encrypted on your phone before they ever upload.
The same account and storage you already use on desktop and web. Your whole cloud, now in your pocket.
iOS is coming next.
I can't wait for Apple to pull their finger out any more (subscription model issues and in-app purchases).
Why should us Android users suffer ... so, here is the Hippius mobile app for drive users 🚀🚀🚀

SayGm now routes to @near_ai's confidential compute: meaning your prompt passes through two attested TEEs, and neither one can see what's inside.
@NEARProtocol's been saying AI should be user-owned. This is what that looks like.

A pretty clear comparison ... not sure why any one reading this who is still using OR would not switch ...let me know in the comments.

Small steps, but in the right direction.
Big buyback update.
Buyback #5: $3,964.79 in alpha bought back this month.
But we’ve also gone further. We’ve burnt the entire Protocol Stability Reserve: 67.7 TAO / $15,612.
We’re now working towards offsetting 100% of miner emissions through burns. This will take some time, building trust with clients isn’t a switch-over product decision. But as a result, we will no longer keep a strategic reserve of revenue received from paying clients.
This is the first step.
