I commend the fact that you are trying to teach Nigerians how a CPR should be done and it’s importance, but there are some things I will like to point out, After checking the surroundings, calling for help, a defibrillator is needed (where you wan see am for naija) When checking for breathing, you place your ear towards the nose, looking downwards towards the chest, that way you can feel the breathing on your cheek and see the chest rising even if the breathing is very faint Compressions has to be about 2 inches deep and in most cases the rib cage gets broken but you can’t stop, you need to keep going ( can be traumatic for the person doing the cpr) After the 30 compressions, you need to give rescue breath, you need a mouth shield, make you no go carry Wetin no be your own No matter how strong you are, you need someone to take over, needs to be paramedics or someone that also knows how to do cpr ( of which Jesus will come the second time before you see an ambulance with trained paramedics coming to your rescue in Nigeria, and that’s if they themselves can do the cpr) or you need a defibrillator to deliver shock ( you need to know how to operate it thought it’s simple) And if the person later dies, although not your fault, naija police will arrest you and say na you kill am.
