The Modern Classrooms Project is a nonprofit organization that empowers educators to meet the unique needs of every learner through our innovative blended, self-paced, mastery-based instructional model. Here is our work in action:
A Student-Centered Model of Blended Learning
Modern Classrooms Project has raised $12 million to build a completely free Tier 1 math curriculum grounded in cognitive science. Middle school launches in summer 2027, and high school follows in 2028.
Every class period has the same research-informed shape: fluency, one new skill taught explicitly, guided and blocked practice, a quick skill check, then spaced practice that brings back skills from weeks earlier.
Core materials for students and teachers will be free to print, free to modify, and aligned to standards. Teach it fully on paper or with technology used carefully. Want to get involved??
