🇺🇸 TRUMP'S OHIO RALLY DESCENDS INTO CHAOS: FIGHTS, ATTACKS ON PROTESTERS, AND EMPTY SEATS Donald Trump's campaign rally at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio, was supposed to energize Republican voters ahead of the crucial November midterm elections. Instead, it became a spectacle of political violence, angry protesters, and visibly empty sections of the arena. Trump spoke for nearly 90 minutes, attacking political opponents and repeating his false claim that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, were eating their neighbors' pets. But the speech was repeatedly interrupted by protesters, including people demanding the release of the Epstein files. According to CBS News and NBC News, several protesters were removed from the arena, and video footage reportedly showed Trump supporters physically attacking some of them. In the most disturbing incident, two men allegedly assaulted a female protester wearing an Epstein-related shirt. One pushed her to the ground, while another reportedly punched her, pulled her hair, and grabbed her head. Youngstown Mayor Derrick McDowell condemned the incident, declaring that political violence has absolutely no place in the community or the democratic process. Despite the footage, no arrests had been reported. Mahoning County Sheriff Jerry Greene said officers had not witnessed the assault and that the woman had declined to file a complaint. The empty seats were another embarrassing detail. Large sections of the arena remained unoccupied, a striking contrast to Trump's packed appearance at the same venue in 2017. The rally was intended to boost Republican Senator Jon Husted, who faces a serious challenge from former Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown. Republicans are fighting to protect their Senate majority, and Ohio could become one of the decisive battlegrounds. Trump also claimed that protesters were being paid to disrupt his event, but no evidence was presented to support that accusation. Instead of projecting strength and unity, the rally raised uncomfortable questions about political violence, declining enthusiasm, and the Republican Party's ability to mobilize voters. With the November 3 midterms approaching, the images of protesters being attacked and empty seats in a Republican stronghold are hardly the message Trump's campaign wanted to send.
