Ben Affleck just let me down massively. You guys know there’s no one on this app who’s defended or praised Affleck more. I’ve called Affleck my generation’s Warren Beatty. But Affleck recently admitted he used AI for β€œlots of things” on his upcoming Netflix film Animals. Where do I even start? Like, holy shit this is a massive letdown. It’s not just Affleck’s unabashed use of AI, it’s how arrogant he sounds about the topic. β€œOh I used it for LOTS of things”, he says with his chest puffed out. Nice, did you use AI to put working class industry folk out of jobs? I’m disgusted. A huge letdown from a man I’ve long admired.
