David, here’s the deal. I’m a retired pro athlete that reads alot and is fascinated by the politics of our country. I try and educate myself as much as I can because most of us ball players live in lala land after we retire and I want to be different. So, I’m trusting what I’ve always felt, and my gut says that our tax money has been wasted and abused, and that our government as a whole, is extremely inefficient and wasteful in many ways. I think most of us feel this way. When I returned to college to graduate after I retired, I took a class on Organizational Leadership. I learned about every single way a governmental organization can be constructed. Bureaucracy, democracy, autocracy, socialism, communism, dictatorship, etc. Armed with this new knowledge about what works and what doesn’t, and also with my life experience of paying a crap ton of taxes while playing in Oakland and watching crack heads shoot heroin next to me at a stop sign multiple times, dealing with human feces in the parking lot, as well as knowing many people in Washington who give me first hand accounts of their experiences, I have to say that I fully approve of what Elon is doing, and I don’t believe he has any reason to lie about it. He’s already the richest man in the world, he’s trying to go to Mars to expand humanity, he’s launched internet satellites to cover the whole earth so we can communicate in rural areas, he makes the best electric cars in the world, he’s catching rockets with big chopsticks, and finally, he boring tunnels all over LA to help with the traffic. Soooo, I don’t think he’s trying to hurt anyone or anything. Matter of fact, he’s seems to be a pretty helpful guy trying to contribute to humanity in the best way eh can. Maybe you should look at his past actions with an open mind. When you ask for evidence, I want to see it too, as do many, many other people. I’m pretty sure that he will gather all that. He seems to be pretty trustworthy to do what he says he’s going to do, so for right now, I’m going to take his word for it. Because he seems to be a pretty dependable and capable person don’t you think? If anyone has any thoughts please comment!
