First classic #JAMA paper demonstrating that randomized control trials (#RCTs) stopped early for benefit (truncated trials) systematically overestimate treatment effects, and when sample size small overestimates large.

Clinical trials should not use inferential stats to compare baseline differences in intervention and control groups. It is a practice that CONSORT guidelines recommend against. Please share! ijbnpa.biomedcentral.com/art…
