Today the Govt’s police did not even allow a peaceful protest against Gyanesh Kumar & the SIR, even at Jantar Mantar which is the protest site designatedby the Govt’s police!
Shows the desperation of the govt. As JP said: “Vinaash Kale, vipreet buddhi” (When doom is looming, the despot loses his mental balance).
But they cannot stop the thousands of protests that will erupt across the country. Gyanesh Kumar will have to go & be prosecuted for his enormous crimes.

Ashu was picked up by Assam Police from a private residence. They have still not been told under what charges or on what grounds he has been detained.
If Ashu is not released, I will go to Assam along with other CJP members. Himanta can arrest us all.

Why are lawyers being denied entry to the premises where CJP members are being detained?
Why is Assam Police seizing their mobile phones? Why is the Assam government denying detained persons their basic legal rights?
The authorities must immediately explain the legal basis for these restrictions and ensure that every detained person’s rights are protected.
