That happened to me when I was on the Skrull world. They tried to deceive me into thinking you came to my rescue.
“I need to get Cap to agree to give you a blood transfusion. Because of the perfected Super Soldier Serum in his body, he’s immune to disease, infection.”
To emphasize the point, she’d point out a chart she had just for the occasion.
“If successful, it should fight off —
“I’d imagine it’s because I still care about you.”
She’d move the chair out of the way, showing the results on her computer.
“There’s a cure, but listen carefully.”
“I suppose not.”
She’d turn to the computer, inserting some data from the diseased sample.
“I just don’t want it to happen to you again.”
“I know you won’t prey on innocent people, but I don’t want you getting in trouble with the law before I can cure you.”
She’d take the needle, inserting the blood sample into a beaker.
“Using my brain, I’ll figure it out.”
“Now there’s no need for hissing. Or maybe there is.”
She could understand it still being painful, despite his immortality.
“That being said, please stay here.”
She’s being careful not to puncture his arm too hard, but with the needle inserted into the appendage, she’d take it back out as fast.
“We’ll get you cured in no time. With my knowledge of biochemistry, it should only take a day.”
