If you have done something that pissed off the group you wanted to piss off, that is the only time you double down. If your actions have pissed off a group you want support from, you would never double down as a strategy. You either ignore it and hope it goes away, apologize, or extend an olive branch redirect to a new topic that group likes. MAGA clearly does not want the support of whites under 30.
