Excited to be back on the course this week at @TheSentry. Kelly and I want to support this community that was deeply affected by the fires, and we will be donating $1000 per birdie and $5000 per eagle I make this week to the @HCFHawaii Maui Strong Fund.
The new TaylorMade TP5x is really impressive. Ball speeds are faster than Pro V1, X and left dash while launch and spin numbers remain the same. What's more they feel better!

Lighted Par 3 Golf Courses are the future.
Of the 16,000 golf courses in the United States, 700 are par 3s - representing 4.4% of total golf courses.
Search terms for 'Par 3 Near Me' have exploded since 2019 - up 64% in interest.
That is double the growth rate of the search term 'Golf Course Near Me'.
Under 1% of golf courses in the United States are lighted.
• Lighted golf courses - 60
• Total golf courses - 16,000
Compare this to South Korea.
• Lighted golf courses - 117
• Total golf courses - 514
Over 20% of golf courses in South Korea are lighted.
I wanted to learn more about the potential in the market - so I chatted with the team at @GrassClippingsc.
They just built out a lighted golf course on an old muni golf course in Tempe, Arizona.
They installed 78 lights that cost $2.2 million. And made several other improvements.
One thing that fascinated me was how large the tee sheet is.
• First tee time - 7:30 AM
• Last tee time - 9:50 PM
They are able to increase their potential green fee revenue by 50% over a traditional golf course.
Grass Clippings looks incredibly fascinating and, more importantly - fun.
Par 3 Golf Courses or Lighted Par 3 Golf Courses haven't been commercialized - and I think there is a great opportunity to do so.
It is the bridge between Topgolf and traditional golf.
And retaining golfers who start at Topgolf is vital.
