Instead of multiple reviews and decisions which can take up to five years, consultations would be coordinated into one process, with a single federal decision made within one year.
That means project construction can begin faster, creating jobs and strengthening Canada’s economy.

But massively opposed to there being any financial consequences of being in a trade war.
Canadians reject higher taxes, retirement losses and job-loss risk as consequences of trade war
Respondents find increased job-loss unacceptable. A majority find tax increases of as little as $500 unacceptable. Even retirement savings hits of 5% were deemed unacceptable.

I saw this pop up in my feed and had to look it up. It’s true. In Canada, a mother who murders her newborn is charged with infanticide which Canadian law treats as a lesser charge than murder. The maximum sentence for a mother killing her infant is only five years in prison. Canada is one of the most evil nations on Earth. We have invaded and bombed countries for far less.
