I'm mostly here for the games.

I've solved the Wordle for the past 520 days. 12 of them took me to the 6th attempt. Makes me wonder if there's a word I could possibly miss.

I always love a good underdog.
Our reprint campaign has unlocked its last game. 6 games are coming back (Circle The Wagons, Liberation, Count of the Nine Estates, Pentaquark, Making Manhattan, and Forest Sky), plus a bonus underdog add-on, Kintsugi. Grab them with discounted prices at: gamefound.com/projects/butto…

Had to tweak my Patriot deck in response to increased Enchantress use after the buff. Added Goose, ditched Ultron and some no-ability cards for Bast/Sinister/Brood. So far I think it's just as good and more resistant to Killmonger and Enchantress.

The biggest giveaway that I'm not a kid anymore is that I can eat black jellybeans.

If you like vegetables, astronauts, games, or the sound of human voices, this is worth a listen. We had a lot of fun.

Brilliant idea. @sumfatkid we need to get several people who own a copy of Just One to bring it to Unpub to see if the game functions at 30+ players. How do we make this happen?

I designed this game and this video makes me feel good.

Christmas day is a great time for travelling. No slowdowns on the road at all.

Once more in case anyone else wants to chat it up.
Are there any podcasts out there who are looking for board game guests? I'm up for talking about design in general, my upcoming game (Tether), my other game about to hit retail (Top Pop), being an indie publisher (@HowToBroccoli), or any number of things.

It's fascinating what level of rules complexity makes people bounce off of games. I introduced a group to No Thanks and it was a huge hit, and the next day I tried Bohnanza but it was way too complicated and totally flopped (they all ended up wanting to play No Thanks instead).

That 1 minute rules teach is a major factor in getting to the table.

I just backed Loot Dispute by @JeffreyAllers on Kickstarter. Looks charming, like something I would be able to get to the table often. It's hard to crack i-split-you-chose for more than 2 players. kickstarter.com/projects/gol…

Went out tonight, but most stores were closed early due to threat of weather (though there's only been mild rain showers all day). Ended up catching a movie in an otherwise empty theater. There's something charming about being out on the town when most others have abandoned it.

It's entered that time of year where I keep the air conditioner off and the windows open pretty much every day.
