Class got to learn how to use LAMP (assistive communication) so they can interact more fully with a classmate. Have a low tech Velcro version to hang in the room for kids to use and used ActivPanel to show the actual program. Amazing day! #inclusion #classroomcommunity

hearing Nolan Doyle @scl_va webinar @desmos resources— sharing focus on allowing kids to play, do, predict, create informal language, connect representations, and notice and wonder! Desmos is about all of this and kids using language to engage in math discourse. How cool is that?

At the end of each day, we share roses, thorns and buds from the day. The majority of roses yesterday were playing in the rain and splashing in puddles. That’s what Kindergarten should be! @mlsmeg @MeriwetherLES @educateju #puddlejumping #playingintherain #kindergartenlife

I’m so frustrated with “we need to make sure they’re prepared for the next grade” as a justification for full days of online work for these babies. No. THE NEXT GRADE WILL HAVE TO CHANGE.

Kindergarten Teachers Are Quitting, and Here Is Why

As one teacher wrote: "Who knew 5- and 6-year-olds could burn out? They certainly can, and I worry about how they’ll continue through school for the 12 years after I have them."

What Maurkice Pouncey brings to the Pittsburgh & Lakeland communities is something I hope everyone, including my kids, sees as an example of the right way to give back - with humility & passion. Steelers Nation do the right thing & RT to help him win. #WPMOYChallenge Pouncey
