I agree a bit with LD.
I’m not part of the “only atmosphere and presentation matters for MLS” brigade but New England is one of a number of MLS teams that don’t meet the minimum requirements for presentation of their product, from stadium to field to camera angles.
Landon Donovan on the New England Revolution via the @UnfilteredSoccr podcast:
“Let me put it this way: If somebody said tomorrow that the New England Revolution are playing three-quarters of a mile down the road, right there, outside your home, and here’s a free ticket, I’m not going.”
“I have zero interest in watching them. Zero. There’s nothing interesting about watching them. Nothing. There’s no history. They’ve never won anything. They play in a football stadium. There’s nothing exciting about watching them.”
“They don’t have any—well, they have Carles Gil, who’s a great player—but there’s nothing remotely interesting about watching them.”

I could win the bundesliga with an average MLS team.
Not because of the talent level but because of the tactical schooling players receive in the first division in the USA. Just look at Bayern Munich. They do a ton of basic things right and decoded this league in no time.
Clear yellow card and the ref let it go. Part of why the first half was a bit cagier than the second
Well for one, IMG has hardly produced many meaningful pros in these sports and in baseball.
Second, if you know anything about IMG it’s that players often transfer to these schools as semi finished products or highish lvl prospects. The amount of skill development is negligible.

Trump has thrown the karmic balance out of whack.
The only remedy is to insert a being of pure goodness & light into the XI: one so ethically immaculate that he bends the universe back to justice. An apostle of the beautiful game. Someone the Soccer Gods cannot root against.
Granted Argentina have way more ballers than Miami but it’s funny how much sharper Messi is and how much harder he tries in MLS than the World Cup

people are always like, you gotta hear this spanish language call of this goal. you won't believe it. he says "goal" for a really long time
Sorry but soccer GKs often play so stupidly.
How do you see a player in Kane’s position and not slide to your left?
I maintain that as GKs become more intelligent/athletic, the size of the goal should increase slightly.
One of the reasons I don’t want MLS to become too good of a league is having to read/hear fan opinions from bandwagon fans across the world
