It’s time for the next episode of The Lit Gals on @KeepINLearning’s YouTube channel. Catch the show this afternoon at 3:30 PM ET or anytime later.
Between now and then, I MUST pare down this stack of books to a reasonable number to talk about!
Yr #30 A mystery read with quirky characters and twists I didn't anticipate. One adults and kids alike would enjoy!
The Lit Gals are back later this month! I’m bringing what might be my most eclectic pile yet! Catch the show on the @KeepINLearning YouTube channel.
Yr #29 I loved the seaside English setting, great (and many!) characters, the WW1 time period, and the themes. What I did not love? The plodding pace. 🐢
Yr #28. So nostalgic to read Judy Blume. This is such a strong story of female friendship and finding your way in the world. (Note: It is far spicier than I anticipated.)
Yr #27. Blessed to be on the launch team for this beautiful book. You know this is stunning when the opening paragraph of the Acknowledgments almost move you to tears. Pre-order your copy 7/22!
Yr #26 The book to read if you need to break your heart 💔and increase your blood pressure ⬆️ while strengthening your brain 🧠. Speechless. @ahylton26
Yr #25. You don’t know what you don’t know, and now I know SO much more. Thankful for this read! If you’re a female over 35 or a man who loves one, I highly recommend.
Yr #24. The next #OddThirdThursdayBookClub pick so not going to say much. However, I will say, I was less than excited about this pick, but that opinion quickly changed. I'll be reading more by @AnnLiangY
Totally filled my cup this afternoon by going to a #KINLCon session about building a love of literacy in older kids. @KeepINLearning
So excited for this to be my station at #KINLCon tomorrow! I’m looking forward to greeting all the speakers. 🙂 @KeepINLearning
Yr #23. This one was on my list years ago but I never picked it up. Kinda glad I didn’t as I read it now in anticipation of Odd Third Thursday Book Club reading “And So I Roar” in September. If that one is half as good as this one… oh I can’t wait! @abidare_author
Hey @DietCoke this bottle made me think of one of my favorite pictures of my grandpa taken in the 80’s while he was enjoying one of his favorite pastimes - boating
“This isn’t a partisan issue. No matter your politics, the loss of open, thoughtful decision-making should be alarming.” Great op/ed by @gbosslet & T. Wilkinson.

Every stolen base can not be a challenged obstruction call. That was a perfectly executed tag at 2nd. #WCWS
Two of my very favorite parts of summer in 1 beautiful night - live music with @IndyParksandRec at @eaglecreekpark and then game 1 of #WCWS. 🎶🌳🥎
