Uno de los milagros que nunca quiero dejar de agradecer, es como Dios me ha protegido en cada salida, en cada viaje y en cada regreso a casa.

maybe one of the great joys of life is finding what makes you forget to worry about being alive. to care so deeply about what you’re pursuing that you no longer have the urge to stand outside yourself and analyze every move. you’re in it with your whole heart. you’re becoming who you came here to be. I hope you get to experience that.

These door handles are little works of art. The bronze snail is such a quirky detail, and the woman’s design is just gorgeous.

Everyone (including me) always highlights the lines, "Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. / Just keep going. No feeling is final." But today I keep going back to the later lines, "Nearby is the country they call life. / You will know it by its seriousness."
Go to the Limits of Your Longing by Rainer Maria Rilke tr. Joanna Macy & Anita Barrows God speaks to each of us as he makes us, then walks with us silently out of the night. These are the words we dimly hear: You, sent out beyond your recall, go to the limits of your longing. Embody me. Flare up like a flame and make big shadows I can move in. Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final. Don’t let yourself lose me. Nearby is the country they call life. You will know it by its seriousness. Give me your hand.
