New research found that patients seen by female 👩⚕️ gastroenterologists are less likely to go to the ER 🚑, hospital 🏥 or their primary care doctor for 2 years after their initial consult compared to those seen by male providers 👨⚕️. #DDW2024 @AmerGastroAssn @laura_targownik
