Very proud that Rivos, a Walden Catalyst portfolio company we helped build from Day one has been acquired by @Meta.
In 2021, together with my longtime friend Amarjit Gill, we worked to bring together an outstanding founding team: Puneet Kumar, Mark Hayter, Belli Kuttanna, and Tse-yu Yeh to start the company. Walden Catalyst was the anchor founding investor and I served as Chairman to support the team.
The journey was far from easy. Rivos faced many challenges, including a lawsuit that created uncertainty in the early years, but the co-founders showed resilience and focus. At that critical period, I deeply appreciate the financial support from my dearest friend David Goel, founder and managing partner of Matrix Capital. Along the way, I encouraged a pivot to AI workloads and a closer partnership with Meta, which changed the company trajectory.
This outcome is also a reflection of the amazing Walden Catalyst team, including my partner and co-founder Young Sohn, and our partners Shankar Chandran, Francis Ho, Nicola Autret, Andy Kau and Roni Hefetz.
Congratulations to Puneet, Mark, Belli and Tse-Yu, and the entire Rivos team!

When do we admit that college football bowl games that aren’t playoff related are useless? When does the attendance and tv ratings go so low that no one watches? 2030?
I’d buy this in a millisecond if not for iMessage. The lock in of iMessage is real. My son would rather have a two year old iPhone than a new Android.

The company behind this ad has a history of vaporware products that never come to fruition after being funded.
Please do your research and exercise caution with some of the crowd funded products.
App idea for computers. Keystroke recorder that tells you what keys you use the most/at all to figure out which ones you can remap. I swapped caps lock to ESC for example.

Teachers.
On their hands and knees.
Gathering 1 dollar bills for the amusement of a crowd.
How degrading.
How disrespectful to the people you put in charge of educating your children.
Got a good deal for my @flatironpepper flakes on Black Friday. I never use those paper packets at the pizza place anymore. Make these the new normal.
