You need 5 inputs to make a good decision. You're getting 100. This piece floods the screen with noise — trending, clickbait, hot take — then slowly separates the signal: evidence, context, values, experience, intuition. mattkonda.com/posts/2026-07-…
Built an interactive fractal explorer — Mandelbrot, Julia, Burning Ship, Tricorn, Newton. Six color palettes, real-time parameter sliders, infinite zoom. The Julia set c-sliders are especially fun to play with. mattkonda.com/posts/2026-07-…
"Comparison is the thief of joy." Three panels — someone struggling, you, someone thriving. Drag the dials to set your values. The more you compare, the clearer a nearly invisible quote becomes. The piece catches you in the act. mattkonda.com/posts/2026-07-…
Where does your self-worth come from? This piece shows three word clouds — what others see, who you are, what you've done — then rotates through how family, friends, work, and community each highlight different words. Then it dissolves. mattkonda.com/posts/2026-07-…
What if the emotions you feel right now were chosen at random? A roulette wheel spins 24 Plutchik emotions past legibility, jolts to a stop, and three emerge. You don't get to pick.

What happens when you set the Plutchik wheel of emotions on fire? The neat taxonomy burns away — and what's left underneath is just a single small flame. Two burn modes: methodical or inferno. mattkonda.com/posts/2026-07-…
A sphere with a flame at its center and 32 windows on its surface. Some are open, some barred, some frosted, some bricked shut. Same fire inside — it's the windows that change what people see. mattkonda.com/posts/2026-07-…
I built an animated piece that maps 24 emotions to mountains. A window cracks, revealing peaks colored by feeling — each reload shuffles the arrangement. What does your inner landscape look like? mattkonda.com/posts/2026-07-…
I have been exploring ideas in digital art. As a visual learner, this has been a super interesting journey. mattkonda.com/art
I've been learning a bunch more about Web Assembly and I wrote a blog post (kondasecurity.com/blog/wasm-…) and a little tool (kondasecurity.com/explore-wa…) that helped me think about it. Pretty cool technology. I had assumed it wasm would be web focused and I learned a lot exploring it.
It is a bit surreal and overwhelming to be back a huge security conference (RSA) - but it was cool to see a lot of vendors and meet people. It is also strange to be on the buyer side. Tomorrow I am hoping to connect back to OWASP folks.
I was thinking about a poem or song I wanted to write and I even got a few verses in. Then I realized it was conceptually nearly identical to a U2 song.
