Why is it that I had very little Spring allergies in a place literally nicknamed “City of Trees” but have basically resorted to mainlining Benadryl the past week of Fall? I need to know what I’m so allergic to up here 😅

It’s probably sagebrush bc that stuff gets me during Santa Ana winds too. Awful crap. And it’s everywhere up here. At least back home it takes a good wind to bring it to my location.

Every day we are fighting to prevent French stats from looking like this.

I am honestly so disgusted that I think I need to go throw up my own dinner. And tbh this would be disgusting even if it weren’t chopped up like a blender of fat and nitrites.

Look when it happens all I ask is that I’m in West Hollywood so the party can flow free from interruption. If I’m up here in potato home, the 2C truck convoy will roll on Boise celebrations reaaaaal quick.

Based on this El Niño so far it feels like mountain west is getting a quarter of what SoCal and southwest is getting. Already have cloud cover rn. These systems are definitely large enough to bring moisture up here so I’m gonna wish this into existence for winter sports season.

May have found a deal for place I used to rent on a more long term basis, and for a much better deal since they already know me. Fingers crossed bc I’d like more of a proper alternative, at least until I decide where I may hang my hat as I divide my time.

I probably won’t be spending a lot of time in LA in the next six months bc I need a longer break after everything I’ve been through. Returning to trade car in for new vehicle, fly to NY for holidays, returning by January the latest for ski season into Spring.

Last day of sunshine here for a bit so definitely going to get outside and spend time in the Fall color. Because we’re headed into this vibe; watching the leaves turn, with ducks on the roof and this on the radio youtu.be/g8VduT7aR2c?is=rXF2…

actually the ducks have basically left. It’s just geese now. But we’ll take what we can get.

Sure, Anthropic may have stolen all the world's intellectual property, destroyed the education system, incited mass layoffs among the corporate class, devalued all art and destroyed social trust but somehow they also managed to lose $80 billion in the first half of 2026

Worth every door and window open rn Garlic crusted dry rub NY strip finished off steakhouse style, cooked rare. Beautiful marbled cut from Snake River Farms. Don’t ask how much.

At the end of all my complaints, I am still managing to laugh about the absurdity of it. I’m laughing and smiling. Bc it’s all about perspective and I’m just grateful to be up here at the end of the day. We’ll find a better property next time.

My favorite feature of this awful flip is the stove range like 7 feet off the grill top so it sucks nothing in and floods the entire place with smoke even tho I’ve cleaned the fans and now I have to use my own air purifier from LA on max next to stove while cooking 🤡

Every rental I have had in Boise has had pretty sloppy issues. It’s so clear landlords are just up here acquiring shit, flipping themselves and seeking maximum extraction. Slanted floors. Old ovens not sealed btwn counters. Old fridge. Dirty HVAC. Get your shit together!

Sure it may not be my criminally negligent LA landlord forcing me to have professionally seal off a dangerous biohazard until fixed under suit three years later, but they have some nerve to extract these prices for sloppy ass work.

Best part about all of these accidents is no human will have pushed the button, a rogue “autopilot” will have engaged it.

I am glad videos whose SFX have aged worse than a 70s bond film are why we have no water but at least it made me laugh okay. How soon until we get the submarine Tesla?
