RIP Ray Kolle - the driving force behind the special characters and storylines that made #Neighbours the international phenomenon it was between 1986 and 1992. He also saved the show in the mid 90s with a back to basics reset and the return of the iconic Madge and Harold. (1/2)
I was lucky enough to get to know Ray over the past 20 years through his contributions to The Perfect Blend and many long lunches whenever I visited Oz. I last saw him in 2025 and had a feeling that would be the last time. He is a #Neighbours icon and we owe him so much (2/2) 🧡
Watched #Eastenders out of morbid curiosity. What the hell was that sequence in The Vic with Cindy and… friends… dancing weirdly to the theme tune from Big Little Lies? I’m so sad to see this once incredible, iconic series in such a bad state.
Loved Julie’s epic meltdown when Daphne helped out with Lucy’s school project! #Neighbours
Eileen Clarke has landed and is decrying “moral decadence!”
The #Neighbours we all know and love is starting to take shape…
Well, I’ve stopped watching. So… 😬 #Eastenders
What are your honest thoughts on Ben Wadey's era of
#EastEnders currently and what would you change if you were given the chance to be EP?
#Neighbours is back on TV!
I mean, I’ve seen these first few episodes several times over thanks to the “How It All Began” VHS tape from the late 80s!
But still - it’s cool to think that the early adventures of the Ramsays, Robinsons and Clarkes are getting another airing! 🙌
RIP Terence Donovan. A big part of #Neighbours in the 1990s as Doug Willis - a relatable, real character who often struggled to make ends meet as he supported his family but was always up for a laugh and a home brew with his mates. The later dementia story was handled so well.
