I run the same process every day, but for the past 2 days, I've been burning through my quota much faster, and there's no reasonable explanation for it.
Exactly, OpenAI has become a childish, unserious company. We expect stability and predictable limits. That’s why many of us trusted OpenAI, but now that trust is crumbling.
🚨 I think these “free” Codex resets are creating a bigger problem for users than OpenAI realizes.
I’m seeing A LOT of people pissed about these global resets.
And honestly, I get it.
Imagine you finally decide to use your banked reset.
You barely use it.
90% of your usage is still sitting there.
Then suddenly…
GLOBAL RESET. 😭
There goes the 90% you were saving.
And now your next reset date can get pushed back too.
WTF?
If you're going to reset everyone, at least give us a fucking choice:
→ Give us banked resets
→ Give us 24 hours window to use our existing usage
→ Don't push our next reset date back another week
→ Don't wipe out usage we already have
We don't need surprise resets.
We just need control over the usage we're already paying for.
Install OpenCodex and see how fast and well Opus 5.5 works in Codex. That's what I'd expect from future OpenAI models.
I'm sorry, but apart from the higher limits, I don't see any benefits to using Sol 6 for coding. It's terribly slow and takes a ton of steps.
I was hoping we'd get something like what the API calls Flex—slower speed at a lower price. Instead, we got it as the default rather than an option, and unfortunately, it looks like a downgrade in intelligence in many respects.
Sprawdziłem Jev od TypeSafe w dwóch zadaniach związanych z przelewami: kategoryzowaniu transakcji do budżetu oraz przypisywaniu wpłat do podopiecznych po tytule. W obu przypadkach model wybierał z ustalonych opcji.
6/7
Dodałem instrukcję ostrożności i opcję ręcznej weryfikacji. W pięciu identycznych wywołaniach te same dwa błędne przypisania pozostały.
4/7
Case 2: 12 fikcyjnych podopiecznych i 24 podchwytliwe tytuły wpłat. Literówki, inicjały, identyczne nazwiska, negacje i sprzeczne dane. Oczekiwane odpowiedzi ustaliłem wcześniej. Jeden request: 21/24 poprawnych odpowiedzi, 662 ms, 0,000878 USD.
3/7
Porównałem 12 osobnych requestów z jednym zawierającym 24 pytania. Łączny czas wywołań spadł z 3882 do 691 ms, koszt o 6,4%. 23/24 odpowiedzi były identyczne. Jedna lepiej spełniła kryteria. To porównanie trybów, jeszcze nie pomiar trafności.
2/7
Case 1: 12 transakcji, po dwa pytania — rodzaj operacji i kategoria budżetowa. Czy wpływ to przychód, czy spłata karty? Czy przelew dotyczy mieszkania, rozrywki czy rachunków? Dane osobowe i identyfikatory usunąłem przed wysłaniem.
Did you know that in Codex, the model is aware of your limit? You can assign it a task and set a limit, for example, a maximum of 5% of the quota.
OpenAI has a really good offering now. I'm waiting for the new image generation model and the new conversational model that will allow for natural conversations in languages other than English.

I'm going to use my AI psychosis to fix clouds for agents.
Someone else needs to use their psychosis to fix source control. I would do it myself but I'm already too deep on the cloud thing.
GitHub is dying and git is not the right primitive. Will dump some thoughts here.
