@currys sold me a faulty @HisenseUK Dishwasher which Curry’s own engineer came out to assess and said it was a dangerous fire hazard.
A simple Google of the model HV672C60UK shows that is has a common manufacturing fault & under consumer law the item should be replaced/refunded

Cold called from someone on your “appointments team” based in the South East. Offered me an appointment with an Energy Saving advisor in the next few days. I said I’ll review my utility choices in my own time. He made the same offer again rephrasing slightly
This is a pressure tactic to push me into accepting a follow up call. I repeated I didn’t want to be contacted *click* they hung up - not even a word to end to phonecall. Incredibly rude - how do is that supposed to encourage me to choose British Gas in future when that’s your
. @BritishGas just been hung up on by someone who phoned me on your behalf. Is that your approach to customer service generally?

These checks are an unnecessary act of self harm that will increase prices in an era of inflation. Brexit is an opportunity for deregulation not becoming a mini protectionist EU.

The checks are not unnecessary.
They are a legal requirement of the European Union Withdrawal Agreement Act, which was approved by UK parliament and voted for by Jacob Rees-Mogg himself.

Tonight, @SuperFurry Animals premiere their lost film, American Sasquatch. It was recorded during the Phantom Power tour, which they've reissued. We take a listen to the reissue featuring all kinds of extras, as well as @theGLC.atthebarrier.com/2023/09/15/…

Just used @nomadicrevery‘s ‘pair / 2nd eliminator method’ on Wordle and did it in three. Absolutely buzzing. Might build an entire house out of foraged twigs later then solve climate change after lunch.

#Eurovision is just too good. It's pure happiness, complete silliness, beautifully poignant and wonderfully inclusive. Truly the best event of the year.
