About to go on @SquawkCNBC to talk about the ‘AI circular economy’ (spoiler alert: I don’t think it’s a bubble, but rather investment to meet real demand)

The best companies — and the smartest leaders — put a premium on market data to guide their strategies and biggest decisions. Few understand data better than Michael Wolf (@mjw) and his team at @activateinc. I was honored to join Michael on stage at this year’s Activate 25 Conference, where we explored the latest trends shaping technology, media, and telecom. One of the things I love most about working in professional sports and entertainment is how deeply our industry connects with so many other dynamic sectors. Michael’s research highlights key growth areas across industries, and I always look forward to his annual reports to find new ways we can expand @MSE's impact and enter emerging categories. Thanks again for the opportunity, Michael — it was a fantastic experience! 👨🏻‍💻📱📊#Streaming #Media #Technology

This is the ad that triggered Trump operative Charlie Kirk. It would be a real shame if it went viral

This is much more than making streaming services affordable. People want to be able to watch shows/films across streaming services. They also want one order, one bill. To the extent that it helps streamers acquire or retain subscribers, and is a good package of programming, expect to see more streaming bundles.
“We’re going to see more of this bundling,” Activate Consulting founder @mjw says on streaming services. “It’s inevitable. This is what consumers are going to want.”

This is not a new phenomenon. Many people view entertainment and time with their families as a necessity –rather than a discretionary expense. "Families Are Going Into Debt for Disney Vacations" nytimes.com/2024/08/20/busin…
