Patriarchy backfires beautifully in old age. Daughters are emotionally socialized to care, but married off and geographically removed. Sons are prioritized, but not trained for caregiving. As a result, parents raise a successor, not a caregiver. Then act surprised when he behaves exactly like that. Society optimized sons for income, status, and escape velocity. Then parents expect them to suddenly transform into emotionally available nurses in old age

There’s a young girl from a poor family Huku Syokimau. Her name is Cynthia. She did well in grade 9. Her dad lost his job. Cynthia has not yet reported to school for grade 10.
Cynthia needs about 68k a year to be in school.
