TeslaVision Contest Entry
We wanted to think outside the box on this one. Rather than directly showcasing features, we allowed the story and visuals to speak for themselves. This one’s for @Tesla & @cybertruck 📐
Our goal? Make it different, fun, and unmistakably Martian. Because let’s be honest…the Cybertruck wasn’t made for Earth. It was made for Mars. 🛸
Synopsis:
A father leaves Earth on a one-way mission to Mars - not just to save the world, but to remind us why we fight for anything at all.
This is a story about sacrifice. About chasing light in the dark. About daring to believe that maybe, just maybe, hope is enough.
For the dreamers, the doers, the ones who keep going when no one’s watching - this one’s for you.
Watch, enjoy, and send it into orbit if you loved it! 🚀

This one is for the underdogs.
No outside support. No rules. Just us building something we believe in.
Tomorrow at 6 PM MST, DEADLAST drops our Fall Collection.
Consider this your heads-up.
Figma just died right in a meeting where we were reviewing our designs and finalizing details for a project. SICK.
Throughout the journey of building FilmLaab I’ve had more failures than successes.
Those L’s taught me everything I needed to win.
Don’t be afraid of failing — be afraid of never trying in the first place.
Take the risk, fail fast, learn faster, inevitably win.
Posted on LinkedIn asking to connect with agency owners and creative directors and had 40+ comments and messages from people wanting to meet.
Kinda crazy that all you need to do is the go-to 1st grade convo starter: “Hi my name is Mitch. Want to be my friend?”
Let’s be friends
What are the next steps for our team at @filmlaab?
Get connected to agency owners and creative directors who are looking for partnerships with a production company.
Twitter do your thing.
I remember early on in my career, constantly focusing on, and comparing myself to other people who I perceived, as more successful and happier than I was.
I have since realized how immature and inaccurate my conclusions from comparison were.
Most of the time, the people that I was comparing myself to were pursuing something that I didn’t even ultimately want.
So I’m just doing me. Just enjoying my journey. I know where I’m going.
Half of the battle is just showing up every day… such an overstated thought, but it’s something I’ve really been seeing over the past few years. Watching this compound effect in my life and business has been wild.
AI is changing video editors lives. Holy cow. #aivideo
Creativity: a thread.
For the longest time I never considered myself creative. Other than family home videos showcasing my brothers and I beating each other up with lightsabers, I’d never explored anything artistic.
So how’d I get here?
I ask myself questions, then try to help myself and the viewer find an answer.
And to me, that’s it. A childlike curiosity for the person, object or place that’s in front of me.
