I'm perfectly willing to put blame on Jalen Hurts. I have in the past, I did this week, and I'm sure I will again in the future.
But I'm not sure how you look at the design of this play, acknowledge its a pressure look so the QB has to make a bang bang play, and then say it's the QB's fault for not getting to a stop route on the backside. Is the argument that he picked the wrong matchup to begin with? Idk... maybe fault the OC who drew up a play to beat man coverage with 2 entirely unrelated isolation routes on opposite sides of the formation.
We see teams draw up great designs at the goalline that make man coverage almost unplayable. And then we see the Eagles draw up an out route into outside leverage and a stop route on the other side of the field.

Chris Long says Jalen Hurts has to prove he can play at a high level without a stacked Eagles roster because his deficiencies are starting to get exposed.
Even more so now with Lane Johnson retiring.

Interesting.
Jos. A. Bank suits are all made overseas, typically in countries like China and Bangladesh. They carry an associate label called Joseph Abboud, which is made in the United States.
I wonder why Trump choose the cheap import over the US-made suit.

Cantor Regina Hayut of Temple Beth Emeth in Ann Arbor has spoken with many Jewish community members across Ann Arbor.
She says many of them won't vote for Dr. El-Sayed unless he meets our nonnegotiables.
We invite Dr. El-Sayed to respond to our petition and engage with our community so he can earn our trust and our votes.
This is an astonishing speech. I don’t see a way for any Israeli government — either the current govt or a govt formed by the Opposition Bloc — to satisfy these new standards established and new lines drawn. Listen to every word here. These words are chosen carefully. We are, indeed, in a new world, which has much in common with a much older world.

UPDATE
An emotional Ed Sheeran admits that he made mistakes in the last week in handling the issue between venues and Macklemore.
Sheeran says that he is “deeply worried about the idea that venues should pre-approve content with performers.”
He acknowledges the October 7 attack on Israel and then goes on to say, “What is happening in Gaza is catastrophic and unjustifiable and disproportionate.”
He adds, “The systemic injustice we’re seeing unfold in the West Bank cannot be overlooked.”
Sheeran says that he is speaking to people to “make a contribution that helps victims of these terrible times” and that he is “listening and learning” because “I do not know enough.”
Asked…and answered. Listen to all of it, folks. Especially the absurdity of celebrities being regarded as brave for ‘speaking truth’ (IE parroting conventional tropes and canards).

A new peer-reviewed study by @Fifty_Global analyzed 1,378 articles containing the word “Gaza” from CNN, BBC, NYT, The Guardian, WaPo, ABC, Reuters, and AP. The findings are wild:
🔸 Hamas Health Ministry figures appeared in 100% of the outlets’ casualty reporting. Israeli casualty estimates appeared in just 3%.
🔸 Israeli estimates of Hamas fighters killed were almost nonexistent. The New York Times never cited them. CNN and The Guardian did so in roughly 1% of articles. AP and ABC were highest at around 7–8%.
🔸 The Gaza Health Ministry’s headline death toll does not distinguish civilians from combatants. Yet only around 15% of articles actually told readers that.
🔸 AP and the Washington Post did better, noting this limitation in roughly 40–43% of relevant articles.
🔸 The skepticism was also wildly uneven. The BBC questioned Israeli figures in 43% of relevant cases, but Hamas Health Ministry figures in 0%.
🔸 The Washington Post questioned Israeli figures 71% of the time, compared with just 1% for Hamas Health Ministry figures.
We're all well aware of the insane anti-Israel bias in the media. But it's always nice to have empirical evidence backing it up
