Meet the local plant species that live at @oodenawihdsb
Over the last year @_ms_lynch and I lead our school Eco Team and we planted these plants on site! Our goal is to re-introduce a habitat for living things to thrive
Thanks for funds @LSF_LST @HaltonLearnFDN

Ever wonder what happens to your compost? Today I visited Halton Waste Management to collect nutrient dense compost for our school gardens
Don’t forget to put waste in its place! We need earth, earth does not need us 🌎
@haltonwaste
Today we turned to nature to find and record angle and line relationships!
We were looking for F, Z, C patterns and more!
There are so many benefits of going outside ☀️

Humans of @oodps1
Our most recent art exhibition required students to interview a human from Oodenawi Public school. Students were challenged to use unity to enhance a photograph of the human they interviewed. This is on display to promote inclusivity and student voice 💗
I learned about this cool website! Sometimes things humans design are emulated by nature. As an intermediate teacher, I want to use this website as we learn about structures in science to connect to nature
Ask nature and comment what you learn below!🌱⬇️

Today our grade 6 and 7s have the pleasure of watching @ForgeFCHamilton play!
Go Forge Go 🤍🧡
I’m thankful to be part of a learning opportunity related to outdoor education and embedding United Nations Sustainability Goals with curriculum
Today’s focus: getting outdoors and using letting the place around you guide learning 🌎
@HaltonDSB
Thank you for this humbling recognition!
I am proud to be recognized as an educator who inspires others 💕
