Peter Hook & The Light at the HMV Empire, Coventry were on top form tonight. Shadowplay was the best I've ever seen them play it. The opening set of Get Ready was great, but the selection of JD & NO tracks for the second was perfect.
Great to catchup with @KatiesDisorder too 😎

To support The Bone Tree, become the echo.
Let the sound slip through cracks, drift through smoke, root in silence.
Forget numbers. Forget noise.
This grows where light forgets to reach.

Every Prolapse gig is a unique event and special, but this gig was my favourite of the 3 shows they did this year. And 2 new songs to delight us 😎

Fantastic live band, wonderful people, playing some great progressive metal. Saw 4 of their 6 UK shows, but this one hit the spot on several levels. Looking forward to their next tour 🤘

On Sun 12 Jan @KitchenGarden3 presents An Evening With Jess Silk @silkj1. The Black Country guitarist, singer & songwriter is often likened to a female Frank Turner or Billy Bragg. Special guest @mortoneddy is former frontman for The Bushburys. Tickets: wegottickets.com/event/63249…

A thread of my 24 favourite albums from 2024, as a form of Advent Calendar. So many great albums released this year, it's been a difficult choice to order these 24, never mind choose the ones to miss out.
May 2025 be just as exciting 😎

Amazing album, and my favourite of theirs now. They played a good portion when I saw them in Coventry recently. Great show 😎

Embers
A fitting tribute to Thomas Kinsella, Torsten & Niels' father, who sadly died suddenly in 2023. Stunningly beautiful in every note.
