How can I tag all the states except INC Kerala?

The first newspaper in India was started in 1780. It was called Hicky’s Bengal Gazette and was started by James Augustus Hicky who was not even an Indian. And do you know what made this newspaper famous? It openly criticised the British East India Company and questioned those in power. This is how journalism began in India. Now look at the newspapers that came before independence. Many of them openly supported the freedom struggle. They questioned the British government. They spread the idea of freedom among ordinary people. Journalism was never just about sitting in a room and reporting what happened. It was also about questioning power and also about standing up for people. So when you say that a journalist should only do journalism and should not take part in protests or movements, I find that very strange. You are ignoring a huge part of the history of Indian journalism itself. A journalist can report on a protest. A journalist can question the government. A journalist can also have opinions and take part in a movement. Of course a journalist should be honest about their views. Reporting facts and expressing opinions are two different things. And yes I agree that not every YouTuber or Instagram creator is a journalist. But I think it is high time we change our understanding of mainstream media. What exactly is mainstream media today? Is it just the TV channels? I honestly struggle to find a TV news channel where I can sit and watch the 9 PM news without feeling that someone is trying to push an agenda. People are shouting at each other. Everyone is trying to prove something. And somewhere in between the actual news gets lost. I am not saying every journalist on TV is biased. There are still many good journalists doing their jobs. And maybe you are one of them too. But that does not mean we should ignore what has happened to TV news. Look at how the younger generation consumes news today. They go to YouTube. They read independent news websites. They follow Instagram pages. They check Twitter and Reddit. For them this is mainstream media. Not the TV debate happening at 9 PM. And just because someone reports through YouTube instead of sitting inside a television studio does not mean their journalism is any less important. The platform does not make someone a journalist. Their work does. And we should judge that work by how honestly they report and how seriously they check their facts. I think we also need to stop pretending that journalism has nothing to do with change. Words have changed societies. Newspapers have helped people organise. Journalists have questioned governments and helped ordinary people find their voices. This has happened throughout history. The ink of a pen can start a revolution. Sometimes even a few spoken words can. Journalism has never been just about telling people what happened yesterday. Sometimes it is also about asking why it happened and why it should not happen again. And whether we like it or not, what we once called parallel media has already become mainstream media for a large part of this generation. It is time to accept that.
