I want 2026 to be the year of privacy on Algorand! To help reach that goal, I have three projects that I will be working on this year. All of them are in the early prototype stage thus not production ready, but they are all working! 1. Zero Knowledge Proofs. @giuliopizzini laid the groundwork with AlgoPlonk and I am working to make ZK development even more accessible to both users and developers. snarkjs-algorand includes smart contracts and client libraries for proving and verifying ZK proofs (groth16 and plonk) with seamless AlgoKit Utils integration that works in browser! github.com/joe-p/snarkjs-alg… 2. Stealth address support. Stealth address allow you to send someone assets without the receiver being public. Using the xHD key derivation scheme (24-word mnemonics) we can support stealth addresses without having to manage a bunch of secrets! github.com/joe-p/xHD-Stealth… 3. Encrypted message support. There are various ways to achieve private messages on a blockchain and some devs in the ALGO ecosystem have working solutions. However, I think the best path forward is to adopt a standard that exists outside our ecosystem and industry.
