I want people to understand...
You do NOT have to stare at charts all day to participate in the market.
That idea alone SHOULD change how you think about trading....

A lot of people want trading freedom...
Then choose a strategy that requires them to sit at a desk all day.
Kinda backwards if you ask me..

Here's a little tip from experience...
Don't open the option chain and ask:
"Which one pays the most?"
Open the chart first.
Figure out where you'd actually want to potentially own the stock to make money...
THEN see what somebody will pay you to sell that strike..
Premium should confirm the trade...
Not create it.

The machine gets stronger when you stop forcing trades...
You don't need action every day.
You need quality opportunities.
Then let probability & time do their job.
Eventually the Machine is making you money even if you don't place a trade...

I think the best education gives you independence...
Not dependency.
Learn the strategy.
Understand the risk.
Build it around your own life.
That's really the only way this works in the end...

The market doesn't pay extra for adrenaline...
People forget that..
Just my thots...

Selling options made red days weird for me... In a good way...
Everyone else:
"Market is down 😭"
Me:
"Finally... let me see what these puts are paying."
Once you actually want to own assets lower...
Red starts looking a little different..

Small accounts can still learn the exact same framework...
Maybe you sell fewer contracts.
Maybe you use smaller underlying's.
Maybe you grow slower...
That's fine.
The process is still the process.
Or you can try gambling it away on 0dtes & give up like most..

People underestimate what a higher probability approach does psychologically...
You stop needing every trade to be a miracle.
That alone can make you a better trader.
You also see trading completely differently when wins just start stacking in your favor...

The best thing about option selling to me isn't even the premium anymore...
It's the ability to create income without having to sell every hour of my day...
Then the second best thing is the assets that start working on their own in time..
That's freedom you will never get with chasing breakouts all your life...

I've learned something about myself over the years...
I like making money.
I don't particularly enjoy having to WORK for every dollar of it tho..
That's probably why selling options clicked again for me...
Put the capital to work...
Then get out of its way.
Few..

I had a stock get assigned once that everyone would've called a "losing options trade."
Then the shares hiked, like a lot...
And the stock made me more than 10x the premium would've..
That's why I don't look at assignment like some automatic failure as X would make you believe...
Sometimes the assignment IS the opportunity & IS the trade...
Few just understand that part…

Some people want one giant win.
I want hundreds of repeatable wins that are simple..
One looks better on X.
The other builds more freedom.
You pick your poison...
Minting The Markets retweeted
You can chase 0DTE all day...
Or you can build positions where you're not checking every tick...
I know which one gives me more freedom.
I also know which causes burn out...

One of the most powerful things about selling options...
You can build a strategy around your schedule.
Not everybody wants trading to become their full-time identity...
It was mine for years, but now I'm teaching folks how to get their lives back...
Minting The Markets retweeted
I don't think most people need more complexity...
They need fewer moving parts.
Better rules.
Better sizing.
Better patience.
Then let the capital work.
Patience is probably the biggest factor tho....

One of the coolest things about selling options...
I can be a little wrong.
Stock can pull back.
Trade sideways.
Waste time.
Do absolutely nothing exciting...
And I can still have a perfectly good trade.
Coming from long options...
That feels almost unfair sometimes. But I love every second of it...
