Russia has been carrying out attacks against Ukrainian civilians again.
Ukraine needs more Patriot interceptors before winter.
We are calling on Member States that have them in their stocks to provide them to Ukraine.
Member States have also recently agreed how to distribute €6.6 billion in European Peace Facility funds. That means at least €1 billion new funds for joint procurement.
This will strengthen cooperation among Member States on defence and support for Ukraine.

A Russian strike against the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. A rescue operation is underway: crews are putting out the fire and searching for people who may have been trapped inside. All services are deployed. Today in Kyiv, a pharmaceutical company and gas stations were also attacked; in Dnipro, a business center; and in other cities and regions, civilian facilities, businesses, and communications infrastructure were targeted as well. Sadly, people have been killed… My condolences to their families and loved ones. Russia will definitely face a response to this. And every one of Ukraine’s partners must see from this terror, from these strikes, that supporting Ukraine means truly supporting people’s lives – supporting the principle that terror must never be normalized, anywhere. Russia must be held accountable for all of this and face real consequences. I thank everyone who helps Ukraine!

Based on the information collected by the Estonian Internal Security Service @kaitsepolitsei we can conclude with certainty that the arson attack on Milrem Robotics premises that took place on the night of 14–15 august in Tallinn was an act of sabotage ordered by the special services of the Russian Federation.
Such actions are absolutely unacceptable. In response, the @MFAestonia will today summon Russia’s Chargé d’affaires.
The perpetrators have been apprehended and no longer pose a threat to our national security. Estonia is a difficult environment for Russia to carry out such actions because we act decisively and swiftly to protect our state.
This act of sabotage is part of Russia’s broader campaign across Europe, aimed at intimidating us and weakening our support for Ukraine.
Our response will be the opposite. We will increase both our support for Ukraine and the pressure on Russia to end its aggression.
Let’s not lose focus and stay the course, because Russia’s actions are a clear indication that our collective exertion of pressure is working.

Ukrainian engineers just strapped a rocket launcher to an unmanned ground vehicle, creating a demining monster. It is literal.
The footage shows a stationary UGV firing a line charge into a field, then the whole area disappears in smoke and debris.
Clearing minefields without sending sappers into the kill zone works like this. Moscow spent decades pretending mine warfare was a static problem.
Ukraine is making it a robotics problem.
Every meter cleared this way is a meter the infantry does not have to crawl through.
