Left off foreign women trafficked and forced into prostitution, truly the list of benefits is endless.
We have grown men 40+ wearing ballies marching around screaming about illegals and being racist, yet your cocaine comes from asians or illegal Albanians, your clothes on your back are made by little brown kids in far east, you buy your 5 pack of stella cans from asian man on corner shop, the list goes on tbh, whats the proper British word we use for people like you MUPPETS. 🤣🤣

Correct. I would care more about a garden shed or dog house than about the people that are rioting in France at the moment.
They care about old buildings more than they do about you.

'You scammed your way into the UK, and you got scammed by the people helping you scam your way into the UK - why yes, you're just the sort of person this country needs'
Absolutely incredible for the Home Office to be saying this. It is well known that migrants would pay companies and agencies to create fake jobs and sponsor them over on visas. Why would a care worker pay an agency £20,000 for work? The agency was obviously in on this visa scam, as was the worker. Now they are painted as the 'victim' and under immigration rules taking effect today, can be recognised as victims of modern slavery. This will be abused massively.

I've just inherited a big old house. I'll (or the estate, same thing really) have to pay IHT whether I sell or not, so I'm going to keep it and spend my time wander room to room shouting HAHAHAHA I'M HOARDING SPACE, FUCK YOU CRAMPEDCELS
Nobody likes inheritance tax - but - if the state scrapped inheritance tax on family homes what incentive would there be for older people to sell homes that are too big for them? In a housing market that is stalled and stagnating, partly because more people live alone, this could risk making Britain even more of an inheritocracy than it currently is

Worth remembering that Evri rebranded from Hermes to escape their poor reputation. Perhaps they'll rebrand again soon.
In August I sent No Way I'm Disco Dancing, my large canvas portrait of Right Said Fred to the band, by arrangement, via Evri. It never arrived After some high-level emails they eventually admitted it had been 'reported as damaged' and so 'disposed of' Disposed of? Sent to the tip? Chucked on a bonfire by haters? Answer came there none, so a pre-action letter has been sent I'm heartbroken, and @TheFreds are none too pleased either. Prints of the original painting (left) are available here: saatchiart.com/en-gb/print/P… So I present to you No Way I'm Disco Dancing (Evri Version, 2026, right). Yes, it takes such a trauma to make a conceptual artist out of me #BoycottEvri @AlexDaviesEnts @MirrorTom

They all absolutely have to be here for their safety, until they commit a terrible crime, and suddenly they're fine with leaving the country again.
Just hang them. For the purposes of deterrence. I don’t care any more

In England, you get less time in prison for setting fire to a hotel full of dinghy migrants, than tweeting that you don't care if someone sets fire to a hotel full of dinghy migrants.
Sudanese asylum seeker Mohammed Abdalla, 28, set fire to The Bradford Hotel containing 170 people on 31 Oct 2025. He was due to be evicted for anti-social behaviour. He set fire to a TV & sat there smiling, causing £4000 of damage. He was jailed for two years & seven months.

It feels like this in the UK too - as the proportion of people taking the piss appears to grow, those previously trying to do the right thing give up and join them. I don't see any end to to this ride until the wheels come off.
I’m going to admit here to something that I find a little shameful, something I never thought I’d do, something I’m kind of embarrassed to admit. I recently let a $3000 medical bill go to collections because there are zero consequences for this in my state and I know that it will let me negotiate a lower price. Do you know how demoralized you have to make me to get me to behave this way? Do you know how badly you have to derange the incentives to turn me into this?

There is no cliff at 35, @LPerrins. Or at any other age in the data. The idea of a sudden cliff is itself part of the myth we've come to accept: Before the cliff is fine. Just don't go over it. Instead the decline starts much, much younger than we're told. My research into motherhood and childlessness was published by Nature Portfolio in 2025. From birth records across the 40+ nations I've studied, it's written in indelible ink: this is a long, smooth, predictable downward slope. I've had countless women tell me, often angrily and sometimes through tears, that they feel misled about fertility, about age, about how much time they thought they had. And now a major UNFPA survey across 73 countries finds that 72% of childless women aged 35 to 39 still want to become parents. That's a wave of unplanned childlessness waiting to happen. And this isn't about childless women looking back with regret as you suggest. I hear it from young women in my lectures, still planning their lives, shocked to learn that no more than half of childless women turning 30 go on to become mothers, if current fertility patterns hold. I hear it from mothers too, some who wanted more children, some who call the idea of waiting until 35 “one big lie”. And from those going through, and often failing, IVF cycle after IVF cycle. @KonstantinKisin has clearly picked up on this too. We don't get to rewrite the data. 35 isn't close to where the barrier begins. It is closer to where it ends. And this barrier goes far beyond biology. My upcoming research asks what actually creates this much earlier barrier. The strongest underlying explanation I've found is remarkably simple: finding someone you want to have children with, who also wants to have them with you, and for that match to happen at the same time, becomes less and less likely the longer we wait. And trying hard enough barely comes into it. Finding your match is personal. Matching is a societal phenomenon. And societies that delay parenthood aren't helping themselves. I don't think Thomas Sowell would object to me saying either.

A five-year work visa that ends in settlement is worth roughly £810,000 in lifetime entitlements: Pension Credit, Housing Benefit, council tax relief, late-life NHS care. Spread over the five years it takes to qualify, that is £162,000 a year on top of the wage. Tax free. A British 19-year-old applying for the same £26,000 job gets the £26,000. No youth jobs scheme can outbid that! @Ianpark62581273 on the subsidy nobody bothered costing.
