In the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Jean-Claude Mulumba Tshisekedi, the elder brother of President Félix Tshisekedi, criticized the governance of the Kinshasa administration led by his younger brother. He pointed out that their father's slogan, which stated, “The People Come First,” appears to have been devalued and replaced by interests based on mineral extraction. He made these remarks during a ceremony to launch a book dedicated to his mother, where he criticized the country's governance direction, pointing out that it no longer practically reflects the principle of prioritizing the welfare and interests of the people. ### “The People Come First” Has Been Replaced by “The Mines Come First” Jean-Claude Mulumba Tshisekedi pointed out that his father's slogan, which was known for emphasizing that the people must come first in political decisions and national governance, appears to have been forgotten under the current administration. He expressed this using language that prioritizes mineral mines, explaining that instead of putting the people first, the government appears to focus on interests based on areas containing mineral resources. These remarks reflect criticism of the DRC's governance direction, emphasizing that the interests and welfare of the people should be prioritized rather than interests based on the country's natural resources. ### He Expressed Concerns About the Management of National Resources Among the issues criticized by Jean-Claude Mulumba Tshisekedi were what he sees as a significant gap between the principles the government announced it would follow and the way the country is currently governed. He expressed concerns about what he described as a departure from good governance principles, as well as problems related to the waste and embezzlement of public resources. He presented these issues as being inconsistent with the principle of putting the people first, because good governance requires that national resources be managed transparently and used for the common good. His remarks showed that he is dissatisfied with the governance direction in Kinshasa, particularly regarding the prioritization of the general interests of the Congolese people and the protection of the country's natural resources. ### Criticizing His Younger Brother's Government The statements made by Jean-Claude Mulumba Tshisekedi are particularly significant because they criticize the government led by his younger brother, President Félix Tshisekedi. Being members of the same family did not prevent him from expressing his dissatisfaction with the country's governance direction, based on the principles that he believes should guide the government's operations. These remarks have once again raised the question of the role of leaders in prioritizing the welfare of the people, particularly in a country rich in natural resources but still facing various social and development challenges. The key question being raised is whether the DRC's governance still follows the principle of putting the people first, or whether interests based on natural resources and minerals have been given greater priority. The statements made by Jean-Claude Mulumba Tshisekedi have once again brought public debate back to the country's governance, the management of natural resources, and the responsibility of leaders to protect the interests of the Congolese people. @drcJosephKabila @CNangaa @fatshi13 @MONUSCO @antonioguterres @US_SrAdvisorAF @SecRubio @PaulKagame @WilliamsRuto @KagutaMuseveni @SuluhuSamia @CyrilRamaphosa @officialABAT @JDMahama @HHichilema @HassanSMohamud @GeneralNeva @EmmanuelMacron @realDonaldTrump @narendramodi @MarkJCarney @LulaOficial @JMilei @petrogustavo @nayibbukele @Claudiashein @Keir_Starmer @GiorgiaMeloni @ZelenskyyUa @donaldtusk @sanchezcastejon @TamimBinHamad @IntlCrimCourt @_AfricanUnion @UN_Women

After reading this in In Stepp’d in Blood: Akazu and the Architects of the Rwandan Genocide Against the Tutsi, a book written by Andrew Wallis, I conclude that Agathe Kanziga was the Queen of Death and the first psychopath wife in the whole world. “In 1993, Bagosora is said to have chaired another event, this time in Mutura commune, Gisenyi. The Colonel explained to the villagers that he had been delegated to come by the ‘mother of the nation’. He was taken aback to find that the peasants had no idea whom he was talking about, and had to spell out that he was referring to Agathe Kanziga – the wife of the president. Further explanation followed that the enemy had attacked the country and that the enemy within their own Mutura commune was the remaining Bagogwe Tutsi. Before leaving, Bagosora pleaded with them on behalf of Agathe that it was important to ''remove the bad weed from the good plants''. His colleague, Colonel Anatole Nsengiyumva, who had moved from being chief of military intelligence to becoming commander of military operations in Gisenyi in June 1993, would provide the necessary help in achieving this objective.” Muzasome iki gitabo muzamenya ubugome bw'akazu k'abashiru n'abakiga.............

This is African solidarity in action. At Kenya’s request, Rwanda donated 500 doses of remdesivir to support the response to Bundibugyo virus disease. Africa CDC facilitated this cooperation and handed over the treatment today in Nairobi to Mary Muthoni, Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards. We are also supporting the training of healthcare workers and facilitating the deployment of Ugandan experts to strengthen clinical care. I commend Rwanda for its solidarity, Kenya for its leadership, and Uganda for sharing its expertise. African countries standing together, sharing resources and expertise to protect African lives. This is the Africa Health Security and Sovereignty Agenda in action. #AfricaReady

Is there a single report from the so-called United Nations Group of Experts, from Human Rights Watch, or from Amnesty International that exposes, denounces, and condemns this violence against women perpetrated by the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, FARDC?
