During a review meeting with the Ministry’s Trade Wings, a stock taking was taken to see status on each market diversification, stronger B2B linkages, closer engagement with our overseas trade missions and government bilateral and multilateral engagement mechanisms. Our focus is on opening new opportunities for Pakistani rice, textiles, agricultural products, pharmaceuticals, processed food, light engineering goods, potential products and services. Country-specific action plans must address market-access barriers, logistics and banking challenges, potential buyers and pending institutional engagements. Trade agreements must deliver balanced and commercially meaningful benefits to Pakistan. Through closer coordination among government institutions, overseas missions and business community, we push to stronger trade diplomacy into measurable export and investment gains.
