“Louis and I were like conjoined twins... For one of us to grow stronger the other had to die." So said JON RONSON, in rueful-ironic mode, in one of his essays, reflecting on our similar journalistic styles and interests. I’m glad to say the operation was successful! We are now leading successful independent lives covering similar though not identical areas of inquiry - cults, mental health, the madness of crowds, extremism, the culture wars. BUT for ONE PODCAST ONLY the twins are REUNITED!!! Please join us (as in listen/watch us - don't stitch us back together!!!) as we discuss unraveling men, the YouTube algorithm, his new book The Castle, how he got his start in TV, AI, El Nino, and NOT Trump.
MORE!!!!!!!!!!
Hey, listen up, losers. You heard me. LOSERS. Because guess what! My podcast is back and you really are going to “lose” your minds when you see who the guests are! Tyson Fury? Jon Ronson? Naomi Klein? Wait I haven’t finished! Eric Idle. Judd Apatow. I still haven’t finished! Vinnie Jones. And in a Louis Theroux Podcast FIRST we have a CROSSOVER GUEST from one of my TV DOCUMENTARIES: Megan Phelps-Roper, formerly of the Westboro Baptist Church – now a distinguished author and podcaster – talking to us about life inside one of America’s most notoriously weird groups.
Oh and – try to remain calm! – because now there are even more episodes of the pod. Meaning you can keep on “losing” (your minds) over and over again throughout the year. You’re welcome! See you on the LTP wherever you get your podcasts (not literally I can’t actually see you)!

I just voted for my podcast The Louis Theroux Podcast to win a webby award for the Barry Keoghan episode. You can too! I need to beat Michelle Obama. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT. wbby.co/57407N

Who’s ready for a generous serving of hot salted pod? Yes, TLTP is back for another run and this time we’re serious (and occasionally comic). We’ve got Steve Coogan. We’ve got Florence Pugh. We’ve got David Byrne. We’ve got Malala Yousafzai. We’ve got Michael Palin. We’ve got some other people I’m not allowed to tell you about... It’s a smorgasbord. It’s a panoply. It’s a cornucopia. It’s an omnium gatherum. It’s a bunch of people we think you'll find interesting. So stay calm, control your breathing, don’t be frightened. We don’t want to hurt you. We only want a few hours of your time. And maybe, just maybe, we'll blow your tiny minds.
A new episode of the Louis Theroux Podcast drops October 7th.
That’s a wrap on series FIVE of the pod. Crazy! Onto the next!
For this very special end of series bonus episode….Michael Cera! The beloved actor and writer, star of Superbad and Arrested Development, joined TLTP while passing through London, to discuss the aforementioned projects and also: Year One, the new Wes Anderson film The Phoenician Scheme (which he was here to promote), Tom Cruise, dealing with fame, work/life balance, and our shared love of the Arkansan writer Charles Portis. Find it now on Spotify!
first episode of the new series came out yesterday, featuring the brilliant Bella Ramsey. it's been great to see press pickup far and wide as well!

Completely surreal to announce that I've made it onto the @radioacademy 30 Under 30 list this year!!!
Too many incredible, inspirational people to thank for getting me to where I am...but right now, thank you to @MindhouseTV and @ArronFellows for being the best.
Well done Millie Chu on joining the 2024 @reelworldeurope Radio Academy 30 Under 30 #RWRA30 @millie__c
Couldn't have done it without @SonyPodcasts helping me get my foot on the audio ladder, the brilliant @jykes7 taking a punt and giving me my first big freelance gig on British Scandal, and the inimitable @mattforde and @Alicelevine for all their patience, wisdom and talent
And also, I suppose, @louistheroux, for continuing to tolerate my presence in the studio

A truly special interview to round off Season 3 of the pod. Plenty more of this coming your way in January! @MindhouseTV
What a thrill to host the brilliantly talented and very funny Barry Keoghan on the final episode of S3 of TLTP. Boxing, Saltburn, THAT dance, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, his love of The Basketball Diaries, his brush with “necrotising fasciitis,” and his new film with director Andrea Arnold - all discussed and much else besides. You can watch the episode now on Spotify and I’ll be back with more in the new year!

The brilliantly talented and very funny Tracey Emin joins me for a rare interview this week. World famous for her visceral and soul baring art across many media, Tracey is still recovering from a serious brush with cancer. So, in an LTP first, I packed up and took my microphones to her, filming and recording her in her beautiful studio in Margate. Her turbulent upbringing, her artistry, her famous bed, being drunk on TV, the YBAs, Banksy, and King Charles - all discussed. Watch the full interview now on Spotify.
Despite looking like the winners of a meet and greet, this is in fact a pic of the amazing team behind this series of @louistheroux’s podcast. Couldn’t be prouder of another excellent, eclectic series which you can now watch (!!) on Spotify.

Exciting news! The Louis Theroux Podcast is back! Seven incredible free ranging conversations - with seven amazing guests. And this time you can WATCH the interviews, with your EYES!!, not just listen to them (with your ears). Please join me from the 24th of September for a series of enlightening, enjoyably digressive, thought provoking and occasionally funny episodes. IF YOU DARE!
Good morning to the man sat next to me on the overground who spent his Monday morning commute furiously easy applying to every job he found on LinkedIn
