26-156: At 8:34 this morning, MFD responded to a 2 vehicle collision north of Millet.
This was a serious injury, head on collision involving a semi and a passenger vehicle. STARS attended the scene and one patient was airlifted to a trauma centre with serious injuries.

Be advised, QEII northbound is CLOSED at the Millet (Hwy 616) overpass due to a major collision. Expect the closure to last at least 3 hours (current time 12:47). All traffic is being routed past the scene on the Exit 497 off ramp. Expect major delays & avoid the area if possible

We are aware of a controlled burn taking place today at Hillside Community Hall, in the area of TWN 472 and RR252.
This fire may produce smoke and flames that will be visible from QEII Hwy, which is just west of the fire location. @511Alberta
