Breaking: Elon Musk ordered the Starlink slowdown that blindsided Ukraine on.wsj.com/4sgcpBv
Polls should not dictate strategy. But he’s probably not going to win because he is not an incumbent, not an elected official and is largely unknown. Also, he may have a confused set of priorities. But polls are just polls. Politicians love the good ones and dismiss the others.

…That time the cult mistook MAGA Nick for Bob Woodward. 🙄
🚨 JUST IN: Nick Shirley just dropped this line in the Oval Office flanked by President Trump, and it's PURE GOLD
"I want people to think about what is happening right now...me as a 24-year-old, I went out and exposed the fraud. I just was concerned about the well-being of our tax dollars. And right now, I'm standing next to the President of the United States." 🔥
"There's never been an incentive for anyone to ever expose fraud [until now]...when you expose fraud, you help save America. People understand that these fraudsters take from the poor needy who actually need the services that we all work hard to pay for, and we take that, and they then buy Mercedes!" @nickshirleyy
WELL-DESERVED FOR NICK.
A year ago, legacy media mocked him as a right-wing propagandist
Today he walked into the Oval Office with the first check for exposing fraud that the media IGNORED!!
Camera, microphone and passion for saving America. Let's freaking go.

WSJ: Elon Musk ordered the slowdown of the military-grade Starlink network used by Ukraine, according to U.S. officials and people familiar with the matter.
Trump and Musk have both expressed anger at Ukraine for attacking Russian diesel refineries, which Trump blames for high energy prices. Last week, Musk capped the connection speeds of Ukrainian devices, rendering some attack drones and interceptor drones virtually useless.
What “point” is he trying to make? Truly. The US was attacked by terrorists. NATO rallied around them. Invoked Article 5 for the only time ever. And many many nations fought alongside the US when it attacked Afghanistan. Why ignore/mock/devalue friends and allies? Why?
Replying to @miketherien
He actually has a point many countries did have caveats in place for what their troops could and couldnt do. Like geographical, night operations, offensive combat restriction even some needing home-capital approval before forces could be used for tasks.
Canada had a heavy-lifting role. We were there!

Boom!
Recently @TheEconomist called Canada a “blandly rich vanilla milkshake of a country.”
But in reality, we’re a diverse, educated and rich in resources the world wants. We’ve got dim sum, biryani, pasta, perogies and pho to name a few.
If you find Canada bland, I have questions about your research. And your lunch.🥪 🍜 🍝 🥟 🇨🇦

When you hear Trump's team brag about how much they have given to Ukraine, here are the actual numbers.

Hey @PeteHegseth - go to hell.

Hegseth on Afghanistan:
I was a captain in Afghanistan, and we would go to the headquarters in Kabul, and there would be 50 flags at the headquarters.
It was a beautiful thing to see 50 different countries contributing to the NATO alliance and the ISAF mission there.
Except there were like maybe five that contributed. It was actually closer to one or two that, by the end, were actually involved in kinetic operations.
In fact, the ISAF patch, we would joke that it meant "I Saw Americans Fighting."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Over 1100 non-American soldiers from 31 US-allied countries were killed fighting in Afghanistan, approximately 1/3 of the total combat deaths.

Instead of EPIC posts, why not just share the number of people who attended the rally? How many seats in the venue available? Some facts would be appreciated.
🔥 EPIC! There isn’t a SINGLE EMPTY SEAT in the Kansas arena Trump is set to speak in at any moment
Absolutely JAM PACKED.
Many of these people have been here since EARLY THIS MORNING to get in. Patriots! 🇺🇸

Better to say nothing than this ridiculous “analysis”. Your side lost by ~50 points. It is good news though that Albertans overwhelmingly want to Remain. And they do deserve a better deal in confederation.
… and when the Flames lose 3-1, that is actually a win!
Before the votes are tallied, I wanted to be clear about something that they're going to try and take from us.
The definition of victory.
If as much as 25% elect for option 2 on the only question that matters... this is not a win for "remain."
It's a victory for independence.
1/4 of the province (of which had doubled in size since this bs immigration scheme) is on board with cutting ties.
That's not 2 crazy dudes in Didsbury. That's every 4th person.
Maybe we won't get to further the process... but we will get to make our point clear: a huge chunk of us are so dissatisfied with the present status quo that we want to walk away from it all.
From this day forth, politicians will see that number on the page and know that it they don't find a way to bring those people into the discussion, they've lost them.
Don't let them redefine victory and marginalize our struggles.
But of course, I want option 2 to pass.
