The truth on any given subject is almost never found directly in the middle between two opinions (for example, let’s say conservative and liberal opinions). Most often, the truth lies more on one side than the other, and those that regularly seek to find a middle-ground truth are overly agreeable and guided more by (often unconscious) self-interest than virtue.

Earlier this week, our dear brother Samuel Sey @SlowToWrite was en route to appear on our podcast when he got detained by ICE. Samuel is from Canada, and has been living here as a legal resident of the United States. We are confident this clerical mistake will be fixed, but this has been a terrible experience for his family.
Please consider supporting his lovely wife Annie and their three small children as they deal with the legal and living expenses of this terrible ordeal.

THIRTY FIVE YEARS AGO tonight at this very hour, Justice Clarence Thomas lowered the boom and utterly destroyed the Democrats’ efforts to destroy him with one of the biggest lies ever concocted.
Anita Hill’s story was 100% a lie, and the American people knew it, with the NYT/CBS poll showing Americans believed Thomas 58%-24%, with only 26% of women believing Hill at the end of those hearings.
God Bless Justice Thomas for not backing down and having the strength to fight back and crush the lies of Anita Hill and her Democrat allies.
And a big shout out to his wonderful wife, Ginni, who was a rock of support and leaned into the fight.
Justice Thomas is our nation's greatest Justice.

I may be in a small cohort here, but I experienced October 7 and Charlie Kirk’s assassination very similarly. Not because the scale or facts were similar or comparable, but because they showed me with equal clarity who would cheer if my family and I were murdered. This understanding is now central to my politics.

Dems have had a lot of very good polls from Iowa, Mich & Ohio.
But are polls underestimating the GOP again? In all 3 states, GOP did better by 5+ pt in 2024 than polls had at this point.
Same thing in Trump's 1st midterm.
Same happens in 2026? GOP probably holds the Senate.

Keep fighting to the bitter end. I have been surprised along the way. As long as you keep fighting there is always a chance. Getting the fracking ban in NYS, one of the most important and last significant environmental and political wins for the people in the last 30 years. We fought against the enviro NGOs the fossil fuel industry, the media NYTimes et al and still won. But it means fighting to the bitter bitter end.Beyond what anyone thinks is possible.
