The Scouting Report Standing 6'0" and 200 lbs, Barragan is viewed as a high-floor offensive contributor with professional-grade polish. Strengths: Elite contact ability and gap-to-gap power. Scouts have been impressed by his transition to the Mountain West Conference, proving that his NAIA power translates to top-tier competition. Defensive Utility: While he was a Gold Glove-caliber shortstop at Embry-Riddle, he has shown the arm strength and range to stick at third base or second base at the professional level. Draft Outlook: Currently projected as a Day 3 selection or a high-priority free agent. His age (24) makes him a "senior sign," which often appeals to teams looking for mature hitters who can move quickly through a minor league system. UNLV Rebels Collegebaseball
