Melody Writing Relay with 3rd years today.. when the music stops, run to someone else’s desk and write 1 bar of rhythm, play the music again stop & move to another desk.. then add tonic solfa etc in a relay or musical chairs!! #musicteacher #activelearning

No summer exams for 2nd yrs so assessment based on life in Russia. Students given Nando’s style menu of work to choose from - create comic strip, article, video, create quiz. They were so creative using @CanvaEdu , particularly the film re-enacting life in a gulag! #histedchatie

Designed some revision worksheets for #jchistory using @CanvaEdu - 2 sheets for each topic - 1st one - 20 mins using notes copy/book - take a break for 5 mins - 2nd one - how much can you recall? Tried it today & worked well with 3rd yrs #histed #histedchatie
Playing Headbandz with 3rd yrs for revision.. 1 student sticks card on their head & has to guess who they are.. 3points if only 1 fact given.. 2 points for 2 facts etc.. or make it harder.. you must describe the person without using the words on the cards! #histedchatie
