How the Twitter Algorithm Works in 2023. ↓
1) Likes boost your tweets 30x
2) RTs boost your tweets 20x
3) Twitter Blue boosts your tweets 2-4x
4) More followers to following ratio = more reach
5) Tweets w/ images & videos get a 2x boost
6) When ppl request "show less often" on you or your tweets, block, or mute you, it negatively impacts your content by 74x
7) When ppl report your tweet, it negatively impacts your content by 369x
8) Tweets have a half-life of 360 mins (aka, a Tweet's relevancy score will decrease by 50% every 6 hrs)
9) Your "Reputation Score" is negatively affected by getting blocked, muted, having abuse reports, & spam reports -- which reduces your reach over time
10) Probability of content appearing on the "For You" tab increases if users: click on your tweet and stay for >2 mins, click into your profile via your tweet & replies, if they reply to your tweet, if they reply to your tweet and you respond to their reply

It's worth breaking down Twitter's 'TweepCred'.
"Here's how the Tweepcred algorithm works:
1) Assign a numerical score to each user based on the number and quality of interactions they have with other users - the higher the score, the more influential the user is on Twitter.
2) Calculate a user's reputation score based on factors like account age, number of followers, and device usage.
3) Adjust the user's score based on their follower-to-following ratio.
4) The final score, on a scale of 0 to 100, is the Tweepcred score, which represents the user's reputation on Twitter.
5) This score is used to determine which users should be recommended to follow or which users should have their content highlighted."
If your Tweepcred is less than 65, the max # of tweets that will be considered by the ranking algo is 3.
If your Tweepcred is more than 65, the limit mentioned above is lifted, which basically. means you can post as many tweets as you want and the algo will consider all of them.
